Our Tour guide will meet you at Kusadasi Port or airport or your hotel lobby with your name sign at pre-arranged time. Pick up time will be given during your confirmation. After greeting, you will drive to Selcuk town by a private, A/C, luxurious vehicle to star our tour.
2 – Ancient City of Ephesus
Our first stop is Ephesus. We will see the Odeon, The Market Basilica, Curetes Street, Domitian’s,
Trajan’s, Hadrian ‘s Temples, The huge Roman Bath, the Gates of Mihridates and Mazues,
Commercial Agora, Latrina, the Scholastica Baths, Polio Fountain, Memnius’ Monuments,
The Prytaneion, the State Agora, Celcius Library, Marble Street and visit the Great Theater of
Ephesus where a mentioned in Acts Chapter 19 where a riot started against St. Paul by the
merchants of Ephesus. The Grand Theater of Ephesus had a sitting capacity of 25.000 people.
3 – Temple of Artemis
Our second stop is Temple of Artemis. It’s one of the 7 ancient wonders of the world. Also known as the Temple of Diana was a Greek temple dedicated to an ancient, local form of the goddess Artemis.
4 – The Isa Bey Mosque
Isa Bey Mosque is one of the most delicate examples of Seljukian architecture,
situated below the Basilica of St. John. It was constructed between the years of 1374 and 1375. An inscription from God decorates the doorway.
5 – The House of Virgin Mary
The House of the Virgin Mary (or Meryem Ana Evi in Turkish) is a place where, according to the beliefs of many people Mary, the mother of Jesus, spent the last years of her life. She was supposed to arrive at Ephesus together with St. John and lived there in the years 37-45 CE until her Assumption (according to Catholic doctrine) or Dormition (according to Orthodox belief).
